Builder Questions

The more you know about your home, the more comfortable you'll be that you've made the right decision. Whether or not you select one of SeaCountry Homes' neighborhoods, take this list with you to learn more about the home you are planning to buy. Be sure to take notes to refer back to!

  1. Does the builder include special architectural touches? (Balconies, shutters, porches, etc.)
  2. Will the sales counselor accompany you on a model home tour, showing you included features and opportunities to upgrade your home and customize it with options?
  3. Is there a fair priority system for purchasing (such as SeaCountry Homes' Inner Circle)?
  4. Do homebuyers get personalized communications"letters on their home's progress, e-mails, photos"throughout the process?
  5. Throughout construction, are homebuyers able to leave questions, comments or concerns for the construction superintendent to respond to?
  6. Are homebuyers able to view a construction schedule to keep track of progress?
  7. Does the construction superintendent conduct frame walks with every homebuyer?
  8. Does every buyer receive a 45- and 30-day notice to confirm the Close of Escrow date?
  9. Are homebuyers given a Homeowner Orientation Tour (a quality check and one-on-one demonstration of their home's features) by their Customer Care Representative before closing?
  10. Is there a customer satisfaction survey 30 days after move-in, 5 months after move- in, and one year after move-in, to ensure everything throughout the experience was satisfactory?
