4S Ranch has been designed with an emphasis on educational enrichment.To meet the needs of children residing in 4S Ranch, the community will feature two elementary schools, Stone Ranch Elementary (open 2004) and Monterrey Ridge Elementary (open 2006) a middle school, Oak Valley (open 2005) and a high school, Del Norte (open 2009), all part of the acclaimed Poway Unified School District. Known for its academic excellence and innovative teaching programs, district achievements include:
