North Park Art Fest MAY 20

Come sing, dance and revel in the streets alongside 35,000 people in the historic North Park neighborhood at the 16th Annual North Park Festival of Arts on Sunday, May 20, 2012 from 10AM to 6PM! This FREE festival has grown into a local tradition embracing a diverse line-up of bands, dancers and artists into one marathon day of performances spread across five stages. Over 40 artists will be showcasing everything from elaborate paintings to metal sculptures and the creativity and talent continues with an array of over 50 specialty and food booths. The city of Oceanside has a wide range of programs and classes for young and old alike in sports, aquatics, fitness, creative arts, dance, family focused activities, day camps, and so much more. It’s time for the Fields!

For over sixty years, Mother Nature has transformed the rolling hills of North San Diego County into one of the most spectacular and coordinated displays of natural color and beauty anywhere in the world. Devil Dog Dualthon

March 29th, 2012

Sign up today for The Devil Dog Duathlon taking place on April 14, 2012! It’s a 5K run/30K bike/5K run or you can register for just a 5K. This race is part of the prestigious 2012 Hard Corps Series from Camp Pendleton. The mail-in deadline is April 6th, and the online registration deadline is April 11th. Register by March 30th to receive your race number and confirmation by mail, free of charge. For more information about this exciting race for civilians and the military alike, click here.
