For over sixty years, Mother Nature has transformed the rolling hills of North San Diego County into one of the most spectacular and coordinated displays of natural color and beauty anywhere in the world. The nearly 50 acres of The Flower Fields® at Carlsbad Ranch are in bloom and open to the public until May 13, 2012. For more info about tickets and times, click here. Oceanside is having a huge week to celebrate everything green From April 23-29, 2012. They are numerous free events including an environmental film festival, youth art contest, green fair with music, food and fun, beach clean ups, compost workshops and much more.
